Stay polite here please.
If you want to play E-bully and shoot down new people, go to the OoT.
If you want to post here, dont start flaming people just for their bad grammar and spelling.
You can tell them that they need to clean up their post before they can get an answer, but that's it.

At this point, if people continue to flame we will start to scare new posters with genuine questions away.
And at least for me, that is not a good thing.

Azuarc has been forced to nuke a bunch of posts here not too long ago, and for me at least that was a clear sign that we are going too far.
I'd like it if Az didnt have to do that again.

And yes North, that means you too.
Even though people here like you (me included) the eternal flame posts with nothing new in them are starting to get more and more annoying.
Just keep it in the OoT where it belongs.
And take your groupies with you on the way out.

I agree with the sentiment. The rogue forums occasionally get like that, though I don't think many of the admins pay attention to them.

Really the only time I flame is when people post something as fact that's truly and completely wrong (i.e. a post I just flamed over there saying kidney shot is a great group ability).

Seriously, though, I agree. These forums are supposed to be an informative and helpful experience, not a nostalgic flashback to the high school caste system.

Hopefully I haven't contributed to the latter.

It's one of the reasons I post here less frequently than I used to (and that wasn't much before)- the forums feel more & more like a popularity contest to see who the coolest is, and so many people seem to think that flaming = cool. Mind you, I also post less because I feel that most of the time, anything I have to contribute has already been said. Rate up, Aethien.

Alot of the stickies don't have what most people are looking for half the time. Its more end game talk on those. Still helpful. I read them all the time. But if I feel I have not obtained the answer to my question I will either post in another thread or make a new thread with my question. Sometimes questions are answered by yes...reading. But sometimes its just not there :D and that is why we ask you all for help.
