My experience so far!Follow

I started a shaman lately, and in the last week, he went from 22 to 37. I played more than my girlfriend would have like.. but not that much anyway ;)

I level him as enhancement (I already have a mage, so elemental was out of question, and leveling a toon solo as healer is not for me!). Let's forget the first 30 levels. But since windfury, the fights are.. uneven! Sometimes it takes forever to kill the mob, no crit / no proc! And next fight, 5 seconds and I'm done! Windfury could have procced twice in 2 swings with 1 or 2 crits!

I believe at 70 it will be a little bit more even, right now, I'm leveling and I'm not paying too much attention to my gear. In fact, I noticed that on this toon (I have a druid, a mage and a priest) I dont get a lot of gear through loots or quest rewards. I get a lot of cloths and mail. I went to the AH to get new armor because at lvl 25 I had still pieces from level 10-15! I guess for the drops, I'm just "unlucky"!.

But so far... I have a blast with the shaman, I can't wait to 41 to get dual wield (I want storm strike first!)!

I'm running enhancement right now for soloing dailies. Once you get SS and dual wield and mail armor, you'll have a blast. It will still be uneven though (sometimes you'll one-shot targets and others it will take up to 10 seconds). My enhancement gear is not all that great. 5 greens, 7 blues, and 5 purples (one doesn't really count). I still spec resto for raids and either elemental or enhance for heroics (i prefer elemental I think).
