Why would you pass up EW and TotH for things like CE and TSA?

this build is virtually the same, except that it misses on imp. HM.
But instead you get so much more damage and a way better buff.

I've seen it before. I can see how some naive hunters would think it's a cool spec. You get TSA and Lightning Reflexes! (/sarcasm) It really just doesn't work.

You don't have enough agility for Combat Experience or Lightning Reflexes to make any kind of huge increase. Without any talents, you have 541 agility, correct? You're spending 7 talent points to increase your agility by 91! It's not worth it.

You could have spent 3 point on careful aim to increase your attack power by 116. Another 2 points to increase your ranged DPS by another 3%. If you went into full Marks, you'd get a total of about 2400 AP and 31% crit instead of 1985 AP and 34% crit.

...But that's assuming that Marks is worth a damn for raiding.

There are cookie-cutter raid builds for a reason. 41/20 BM is Max DPS. 5/20/36 is the ultimate SV DPS/Support build. If you really want to be a highly-regarded raider, I'd stay stick with one of those.

edit: If you plan on going survival, you really need to regem everything and get a few more agility-based pieces. PvP gear isn't very good for SV, so I'd suggest going back to BM.
