Hello Nature Warriors,
Can you use Ancestral Spirit on a corpse that has already released? I know you can use Ressurection on someone that has released, but can you do it with Ancestral Spirit? I would just try it, but as I am at work, I can't, and... I figure it would be a good conversation to have for newbies like myself.

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question...

Ancestral Spirit is our resurrection for other people. Yes, it can be used even if the person released.

Ok if the person releases you can not target their corpse, and it no longer states that the person is "ressurectable", so how do you do it?

Click on your Ancestral Spirit spell then click on the body. You should notice a little hand thing when you go to click the body, which will turn blue around the edges if you're close enough to cast the spell.

Releasing spirit only brings these two problems with resurrection abilities:

1) The rezzer cannot click the portrait to resurrect--they will have to use the ability and then click on the physical corpse itself.
2) The dead person will not show up on the minimap at their corpse, but at their graveyard.

Hence, the only "problems" come up with releasing spirit if the healer cannot find your corpse. If you die out in the open, no problem.

Well, most people with half a clue should wait to release anyways on a instance/raid, so I still don't see it as much of an issue.

LOL I am a newbie, so, naturally I am with people who don't have half a clue, it makes it fun.
