new to mage, frost specc
i just dinged 40 last night and some friends run me thru rfd, sm cath & uldaman
i got some new gears and i dont know which one to choose.. ill link them and pls give me your opinion

I'd take the glowing eye from the first two.
Why - I like more damage and more crit.
I'd take the Lich from the second set.
Why - More intel - the spirit on the other one isn't a giant help.
I'm not into the 'theory craft', so I didn't run the numbers. I'd just stay that frost is all about crits. Also - the 'real' correct answer - is that you'll replace it all in 5 lvls, so who cares. Hahah

A few mage in my guild told me that spell dmg is the way to lvl for mage's..
and spirit, less downtime ..that true or what ?

When leveling focus on stam/int gear, if you can pick up stam/int gear that has spelldmg take it. Spirit is "useful" but not that helpful, if you get it with another piece of gear that is fine. The downtime isn't that big of a deal, you conjure your own water/food and will have to drink either way.
Anything "of the eagle" is good. If it has spell damage too, so much the better.
