Killing Paladins as BMFollow

So I have noticed in the Arena 2v2's I have a very hard time teaching those pallys just whos boss (usually it ends up being them). I was wondering do other BM hunters have this problem and that I just need to learn to play my class, or do they just own us like the school yard bully owns scrawny white kids? I say this because I used to work them as MM, but then I switched over to BM and loved it except for those damned plate wearing healers. Alls I got to say is, damn I miss Scatter Shot.

You basically want to drain and control them as much as you can.
Slow them down with frost traps, keep your scoprid and viper sting on them as much as possible.
(if you dont use a scorpid it's more or less a lost match already as no halfway decent pala is going to leave Viper on him)

Basically, you want to attack their mana bars, not their healthbars.
Because when they are out of mana, they cant do crap anymore.

However, to do that you need a whole lot of control.
And control isnt BM's strongest point. I would advise you to try out (and practise a lot bevcause it's insanely much harder to play right) the 11/41/9 build.

You need to think of a lot more things, but once you get used to it you'll have much more control over your opponent.

I would think in 2v2 that a 2 hunter team would be better off with a BM and an MM hunter rather than 2 BM's.

If you can time a silence shot right, you can keep a Pally from bubbling. They generally do it if they are dropping fast at around 15-20% health. If they are going down more slowly they will wait until about 10% health. Get that silence in there and you can both DPS them down before they can get away with it. Also, it doesn't hurt if you can time an aimed shot down on them at around 25-30%. They will be looking for a decent heal as they pass 50% and won't get it off under fire until about 25-30%. Your aimed will cut that heal in half provided it arrives first. They will panic and go for bubble shortly after that. Fire that silence shot in there and they are toast. A nice multi or arcane does well in the gap between the aimed and silence. If you have an auto timed up- bonus damage!

BM can deal with most other classes well but especially locks and shadow priests. They chew them up faster than I do in MM. It's about the same on mages and other priests. I think BM is a very capable arena spec but it does have it's weak spots and BW on cool down is the biggest one... :(

MM is pretty awesome. Have you put most of your CC moves on focus macros Aethien?

Focus=You set a target to your focus, and any macros that get set to your focus will automatically bring it up. It is also useful in raids for targetting the MT or OT and such.

Also, Aethian, get Proximo, and name your pet after yourself/healer/other dps.

Actually, I believe this is not considered "cheating" anymore. One of the more well known Hunters (Either Therst or Megatf) were reported for doing this, but in their response they claimed it was for "RP purposes." Therefore, it isn't actually an offense.
