Easiest and toughes class to fight Follow

What do you consider to be the easiest and toughest class to fight as a druid.

I don't pvp much, mostly just being ganked, but i hate seeing the opposing factions hunters and warlocks. I know i'll just get owned.

I fought a pally two levels above me and won so i say pallies arent horrifying.

First, the answers you get will probably vary upon spec.

From a feral point of view, Locks are tough unless you get in the initial pouce...a swing or 2 then maim in. Elemental shamans can be nasty due to their spell dmg, along with mail armor and ability to heal them selves. If you're feral, hunters shouldn't = death. Feral charging to keep them from getting away from you, along with form switching to stay off movement impairing effects should make things easier.

Pally fights are fun....sick endurance contests.

From a feral perspective, we dont automatically beat any class and aren't automatically beaten by any class -- other than, perhaps, locks, who beat everyone but rogues. And we are no good on healers. Everyone else we have a solid chance on, and some who initially appear easy (hunter, warrior, rogue) can suddenly slaughter us if they're well-geared and well-played.

I have probably the hardest time vs Hunters, Locks and Rogues if they get the initial jump on me.

Otherwise there really isn't a class that totally can take me down w/o a problem.

Info:

70 Feral Druid
~300 resilience
~32% crit
~2500 attack power
~16,000 armor
9,500-13,500 health

Easiest:

1) Enhancement Shaman
2) Mage
3) Warrior

Hardest:

1) Any healing spec'd Paladin or Shaman
2) Rogue(s)
3) Warlock

2 and 3 might switch around, but ShS Rogues can really ruin my day with their poisons and crap.

I definitely hate fighting Holy Paladins. They take forever to whittle down and just as you're about to kill them off, they receive help. The top 3 easiest kills are a bit messy, though. Any DPS spec'd class is easy kill if they don't expect me, or if they're slow on the keys. However, a Mage and Warrior can tear me up if they are fast on the keys. Especially Frost Mages with their damn elemental easily doing 500+ damage through my armor every few seconds.

Bah.

Crit-chains have probably made a fair amount of Mages curse at me, though. Ravage, 2x Mangle and FB crit. That's nice.

I have a hard time with a decently specced Fire Mage. If they don't go all fire and instead throw some into arcane to be able to get Presence of Mind and do 2 pyros followed by other quick bursts, I find most of my health eaten away in seconds. If I get the jump on them though, then it is no contest. I find it is that way with any cloth and leather wearers: If I get the first hit it is going to go my way. If not, it will either be a hard fought win or a total blowout against me.

Feral here in my PVP set:

~ 24k armour

~ 26k attk pwr

~ 17k health

~ 36% dodge

~ 37% crit

323 Resil.

- and a decent chunk of procs for expertise/dodge when the chips are down.

Hardest by far are the healing spec classes. With Pallies being the worst. (Unless their bubble is on cooldown.) To me they are the indestructible cockroaches of battlegrounds. The flipside, is I've never had a pally kill me without help.
Resto Shammies and Resto Druids turn into a grueling, slugfest with endless mana/heals. Almost always these stay as a draw until one or the other of us gets some backup to tip the scales.
The only other class I seem to have trouble with are BM Hunters. Too much wittling away on my health while immune to my stuns.

Easiest I find are mages, priests, warriors and rogues. Once in bear form I can basically toe to toe win against the melee with a bash/cyclone thrown in to heal and cleanse. The clothies are catfood. The season 3 gloves really help.

As per usual warlocks are the odd one out. Depends on their current pet, and whether I get the initial drop on them or not. I lose about 75% of the time, but half that I take them with me with my own DoTs. (There's a poetic justice in seeing the lock that just killed you take 2 steps and die before you release. Very cleansing.)

I guess I will just go through all the classes. I am feral, btw, and these are in no particular order.

I generally find shamans hard to kill. I don't know if I just ran into a bunch of great shamans or anything, but for an entire weekend I got killed by every shaman that set eyes upon me. Resto, enhancement, ele, whatever. I haven't had that problem recently, but that could be because I usually avoid shamans now. Hard fight.

I find other druids of all specs easy (but especially balance).

I find paladins to usually be easy, but holy can go on for an extremely long time and sometimes ret gets lucky crit chains. Prot is no contest, they have a limited mana pool and you just have to outlast it. Easy-medium, but potentially long, fight.

Rogues aren't hard, I always kill them, even when they get their opener on me. Easy fight.

I used to have a problem with warriors, but then I tried bear form instead of cat (duh) and now I win about 80% of the time. I would rate warriors at medium difficulty; you still have to work to win.

Hunters are **USUALLY** easy. With most, it is no contest, but occasionally you get the good one that will beat you every time. Even so, I will always pick a fight with a hunter. BM gives me the most trouble, as TBW (I think? Whatever it is when they turn red.) makes them immune to the immobilizing effect of feral charge, and shifting out of the crippling poison can kill your mana very fast. You have to work at it to stay in melee range, so I can't say this is an easy fight, but it isn't difficult either.

Priests are simple, but occasionally you get the good shadow priest that will kill you a lot. Usually an easy fight.

The mages I seem to run into aren't very good, I can tell you. I always pounce, but they don't blink out of it. They try to complete a cast while in melee range. They try to polymorph me. Sometimes you get a good mage, but it generally isnt a problem because you can shift out of the slowing effects.

Locks seem to be the only class that can be something besides very easy or very difficult. Some locks are extremely easy, and go down fast if you get your opener in (easy). Some will try to chain fear you after you get your opener in (medium). Some will have their felhound (is that what it's called?) out, see you in stealth, toss on some dots, and siphon life until you are dead, healing through whatever damage you can do (impossible). With locks, it is the luck of the draw, and I avoid them if I can.

I would like to remind you these are all just my opinions, and therefore subject to bias and delusions of grandeur.

Oh, and 26k AP translates into (correct me if I'm wrong here) more than 1850 dps, just counting white damage. Kudos to you, Skirnir.

Bolded the important part. If you find some PvE gear that gives that much AP I'd still be astounded lol.

I've seen a warrior with ungodly amounts of AP once but that was when rampage was still bugged on the test servers. Stacking infinitely. Some orc was running around one shotting raid bosses.

I think he forgot to add a comma. Smiley: lol

26,000 attack power in Bear form would rock, though.

Resto here, 1766 healing, 379 resi, 10k hp, 11k mana - in pvp gear.

I hate rogues >:( even if I trinket out of one of their stuns they always have more, especially prep rogues. And let's not forget cloak of skill /eyeroll

I personally have hella trouble with shammies (of any sort) purge, purge, purge, purge, earth shock, purge, purge - dead Tattie.

Some hunters I can beat, some I can't - depends on how many cooldowns they have available.

Warlocks aren't that big of a deal, unless they way out gear me.

Warriors are easy, you can kite them or root them.

Mages are easy - they can't out dps my healing, unless they get a lucky counterspell in, cuz I was being stupid.
