A few Restokin questions...Follow

Hello all. I recently respecced Restokin on my previously Feral Druid and had just a few simple questions.

Healing/DPS gear: The question here is, do you keep separate equipment sets for healing and DPS?

Trinkets: I am having trouble finding any trinkets that would be useful, I looked over Atlas enhanced, and can't seem to find any that would be appropriate for dual roles.

Thank you for your time, and hopefully responses.

My suggestion is to have two sets of gear. One for caster dps and one for healing. I'm a full balance druid and I have separate sets for both rolls.

Even when I don't spec resto for raids and what not I have 1200+ healing with 4 kara cloth/leather epics, some random blues and greens in my healing set. I've main healed H Ramps as a balance with that equipment. When I'm in my balance gear though I have around 700 +healing so it's possible to use it like that, but you're so much better off just having two sets.

yes I keep a set of healing gear and dps gear, my +dmg isn't all that great and I find I can kill faster in cat form with my dps gear. Or maybe it's just my playstyle but I leveled pre-tbc fighting in caster form and was it ever so slow to the point I lost interest for a bit.

I don't believe you will find any trinkets that you can use in both forms at least none that I am aware of.
They are all pretty much this or that. ie: healing or attack power
In my case I have a dps trinket and healing trinkets, in all about 6 or so that I switch between as the situation demands.

You didn't say why you wanted to switch to Restokin, and what you plan to do as a restokin. Do you want to be a healer in Arena? Do you want to be able to heal effectively in groups/raids, but still be able to solo w/o respeccing? Give us some details please :)

I went Restokin out of curiosity. Having been Feral from the start, I wanted to test, and get a feel for, the other talents.

So far, my experience with the Restokin build has been extremely positive. I enjoy the ability to still deal sufficient damage, yet heal fairly well, and Moonkin form is interesting.

I kind of expected the gear question to be answered in the manner that it was, and I appreciate the responses and advice delivered.

As far as my goals; I have read many positive things here in these forums about this particular build ( I went 34/27) when it comes to PvP healing and survivability. I have really enjoyed having a different purpose in BGs, and I am slowly preparing to step into Arena, so, the answer would be I am trying to get better at PvP, and try a different perspective.

Thank you all for your responses.

There really isn't any trinkets that do both, since generally they are either great at healing with some damage, or good at both (but with much lower healing then a healing trinket).

A suggestion for an idol is Idol of the Raven Goddess which gives each of your forms it's own special boost.

EDIT: I just realized your build won't have Tree of Life, so the idol part.
