Back to Resto... using healbot questionFollow

I recently switched back to Resto on my druid and downloaded healbot to help with healing. I noticed a few issues with it, though. It may be due to my inexperience using it, not sure.

Anyways, I put rejuv on the right mouse button, lifebloom on the left, regrowth on the middle, and HT on the fourth button. However, sometimes I would click on the left button and start casting regrowth or healing touch and I never touched those buttons. Has anyone else had this problem?

Also, how do other resto druids use swiftmend and NS with healbot? I couldn't seem to get them to work. If I wanted to swiftmend the tank, I had to click on his actual profile and then hit the sm key on my keyboard.

One last question, I've heard some recommendations for Grid over healbot. Which is better for a resto druid? Or is it more a matter of personal preference?

Thanks for your time and replies. :)

I haven't figured out how to bind a macro to healbot. (the macro being a NS+HT)

Healbot attempts to use the best spell when out of combat, so that might be why it's casting something different for you. (smart casting)
Yes I know what you are talking about here since it's happened to me as well.
I haven't used grid but I'd say it's personal preference.

If you go into the options and turn off Smart Casting while in Combat, that should help. Also, any time I change my Healbot spells, I have to log out and back in again before the change takes.

There is a "ReloadUI" button in Healbot, you must press it whenever you change your spells. I believe Jack got it right, I had the same problems seemed to be casting random spells out of combat, and it was indeed the smart cast feature, which is more annoying than useful in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies. I'll turn off the smart heal option. And I had figured out the Reload UI (although I forgot to do it once). :)

So, how do you all handle using swiftmend and nature's swiftness? Do you have to click on the person's icon instead of using healbot? Seems like that would make it more complicated.

I set Swiftmend to ctrl + left-click.

For Nature's Swiftness, I just put it on the right action bar that is very close to the Healbot window, so it's easy and fast to click it and then HT someone.

Don't forget to put your swiftmend on there too...

My setup is
Left-Click = Rejuv
Center-Click = Lifebloom
Right-Click = Swiftmend (for a quick left/right combo to swiftmend rejuv)

Ctrl+Left-Click = Regrowth
Alt+Left-Click = Healing Touch

Ctrl+Right-Click = Ablish Poison
Alt+Right-Click = Remove Curse

For NS+HT i do not map it in Healbot... I take my main tanks and best healer(s)(the only people I will NS+HT) and drag them from the raid tab to the bottom of my UI and form a tight little square with them, they sit right above where I have my NS and HT on my spell bar so I am just 3 clicks away if needed, NS, then HT, then click the raid frame right above for who needs it.
