Written by the guy who wrote Roguecraft 101 over on EJ.

It's a bit more accurate than Aldrianna's, IMO. I was surpassing Aldrianna's estimated DPS on Teron for my gear; on this, I'm not meeting the potential, which is about right.

Edit: To show how scary-accurate it is, I put up 1774 DPS on Teron, it estimated my DPS should have been at 1807 with the buffs I had. Considering I wasn't using an optimal spec, that's pretty damn accurate.

Nice thanks for the link.

What hud are you using in the new UI?
I really like this one.

Is it anything like Cheeky's sheet where it will initially auto load you from armory, then you fill in the rest ??

Is this the new one by Vulajin?

I was reading about that one on the O-boards the other day.

Good, good. Another spreadsheet that says that the badge fists are not better than ToA + 95dps offhand sword. With the S2 swords now sold for honor, the badge fists are a waste of badges for raiding. Ironically, they are probably still better than S2 for PvP (because the swords seem to catch up due to extra sword spec procs from WF). Nice mixup of PvP/PvE weapons...

Yeah, except it doesn't.

Learn how to set a spreadsheet properly, please.

Indeed I gave to much credit to S2 MH - it's not as good as ToA, so fists will be better.
As for fists vs ToA - there was recently some discussions in the spreadsheet threads, and it seems both Adriana's and Vulajin's initial spreadsheet version were wrong and undervaluing swords.

I want to caution you all not to buy to heavily into any conclusions made using my spreadsheet just yet. There are still plenty of bugs and I'm discovering new ones every day. For example, until a recent version I had accidentally set dagger-based instant attacks to use normalized AP contribution at 2.4 speed instead of 1.7, providing inflated estimates of dagger build DPS.

Also, cheers to any and all theorycrafters around here. I used to spend quite a bit of time on these forums in the days of FFXI, and it's good to see that same type of community exists for this game too.

Smiley: eek Famous guy alert, hi2u!

Back on topic; Ald's has been fairly reliable, as far as I'm concerned, the only exception being the AToL proc with optimal pooling which puts me over the estimated output. I'll have to try this out asap. Thanks for all your hard work, VulSmiley: smile

I prefer the 'Mad spreadsheets' avatar to the 'F12 key' one, though...
