after the new layout my eyes bleed from reading the yellow type, and I'm still a noob so i check it a lot :(

Please "talk up" if your comprehension white-shifts. I will use simple-happy language-words to help you understand.

yellow has always been a terrible color to use for text (imnsho) and I didn't like it with the old layout.

Well it's a post by highRfrequenC, and while the post is still extremely relevant I don't believe he (or she?) frequents the boards like they use too. We are unable to edit someone else post, only a admin can do that. Nor do I believe anyone here wishes to copy and paste his post to merely change the colors and take away the honor highRfrequenC has had at the top of this forum for all these years.
My advice? Here's the wikified version of it Druid 101. Other then that we can drop him a PM and hope next time he checks the boards he can change it for us. ^^

Ouch, hadn't checked it lately but that's a good observation/suggestion. I just PM'd a couple admins that I found in the general forum asking them to change the text to black, we'll see if that works.

ya, I had an instructor who used to do power point lectures in yellow. As JeeBar said, ctrl A is a blessing. Its the first thing I did when the boards changed and i was looking for links in the sticky.
