As far as I'm aware it's a world drop. So keep checking the AH, it has to drop for someone at some point.
You don't want to hear this, but I got it on the AH. Think it's a world drop and can't really be farmed. Maybe someone can correct me on that.

If you look a bit further down the item's database page, you'll notice there's a tab called "Dropped" which displays a Top 3 drop by percentage and total registered drops.

Just keep an eye out for it on the AH while you do lots of Steamvaults runs to get exalted with Cenarion Expedition and get [wowitem=29171]Earthwarden[/wowitem].
just checked the AH on my server "Bleeding Hollow" and there's 2 going for 75g bid, 100g buyout. is that a good deal? what did everyone else pay?
I bought mine off the AH for about 35g, on a medium pop realm. ..but that was about a year ago.

I was lucky enough to get that drop....didn't think it was a very good item for moonkin though so i sold it on ah for under 50 gold probably...it was a few days ago. Dropped it up somewhere in outlands. Good luck.
Just wait til 65 and do Ring of Blood quests in Nagrand for this. With a good group it isn't too hard, and it s far superior.

Staff of Beasts is better for DPS for sure, but Braxxis has 550 armor which multiplies out to a fat addition to your AC, especially since you'll also have Thick Hide. It ends up being over 2000 extra armor.
I bought mine on Amun'thul for a 58g buyout the first time I checked for it, so not sure how often it shows up.

Ah, didn't see the armor on the top of it. Never tanked as druid, so don't know much there, the other staff suits my cat form leveling needs better.
Edit: My server is selling the original staff for 32-35g buy out.

The 2.2K+ armor gained from Braxxis pretty much makes it the best tanking staff until you get Earthwarden. On my medium pop server it's been going for 35g-65g
