There was a post on the WoW Druid Forums asking this question. Someone posted the idea that the Wrath spell is simply us druids shooting cabbages at our foes.

I like the idea.

LASER CABBAGES OF DEATH GOGOGO

I always viewed it as a bundle of natures wrath that a druid is calling upon.

wrath:
1 : strong vengeful anger or indignation
2 : retributory punishment for an offense or a crime : divine chastisement

Man has seen no wrath until man lives through a cat 5 hurricane and than will man understand natures wrath.
or something like that

SPOILER ALERT!

Nature (vegetation, more precisely) gets angry at humanity and attacks it with airborn neurotoxins.

Wrath could very well be that. Perhaps Mr. Shyamalan has been playing a Druid all these years.

I figured it was mainly some lines of code that were animated to look green and sparkly that caused damage to whomever I deemed worthy enough to throw it at.

Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

My take is it's Elune's way of channeling her "wrath" so to speak through a conduite to punish those who commit crimes against nature.

That was very roleplayish of me... Wow

wrath=cabbage....you'd think more mobs would be immune to it

I'd say it'd be similar to Malfurions default attack in WC3. It's also green, and one of his click-to-attack speach is "Feel natures wrath!"

+1 for the Trico GunBound reference. For he is a true cabbage launcher of death.
