Hey guys I am physician IRL and have very irratic schedule so a "weekly arena time" doesn't exist. I tried PUG teams play for a week and then try to get togehter again and it doesn't work. So to fix this me and a coworker with same bad schedule made our own twos team. He has 3 lvl 70s: a hunter, spriest and prot pally. We have one team and do 3 games each with hunter and priest and 4 with pally. We usually go 0-3 or 1-2 with hunter, 1-2 or 2-1 with priest, and 2-2 to 4-0 with pally. Eventually once the priest gets geared it will be my best partner, but right now the pally is.

Bold TextSo can I play 10 games with hunter and priest then leave that team then play 10+ games with the pally and he get points with all three? It would give me more points overall and allow his other chars to slower acquire arena gear. Or if I leave his team (so only his account is on it) will he lose the points for those two?

Thanks

Vulk

let's say your 2v2 team has the following members:

1) holdenvulk
2) hunter
3) priest
4) pally

holdenvulk will play a total of 10games (3 with the hunter, 3 with the priest, and 4 with the pally).

That way everyone on the 2v2 team will receive points for the week with the minimum required 10 games plus 30% participation of total games played for the week. Did that make sense?

Basically, each member of the team need 30% of the total games played during the week to receive points, so in my example, the hunter and priest each played 30%, the pally 40%, and you with 100%.

Another example: holden 10games, pally 5 games, pries 3 games, and hunter 2 games...only holden, pally and priest would get points for that week. Since hunter only participated in 20% of the total games played, he receives no points.

edit: to provide second example

thanks xlpanda
your first example 3, 3, 4 is what we currently do.

My question was since we lose much more with hunter and priest than with pally
could I

1) Team 1 5 games each with hunter and priest

then leave team and join pallys team 2

2) 10 games and much higher team rating

I would get more arena points ( I know my personal rating would reset each time I rejoined) but his priest and hunter could still slowly get arena points to gear up. As long as his priest and hunter would still be awarded points on the first team with me off of it and according to devzzz they will.
