Does anyone know a good macro for soulshatter and then using shadowbolt?
umm... no offence but there's no point in the macro, SS is a 5minute cd panic button... trying to improve your raid dps by casting your next SB at most... 0.5 seconds faster after using SS every 5minutes won't make a difference. tbh best thing is just to have it on a seperate button... or for the sake of fun, bind it to every button on your number pad, that way you can slam your fist on it the moment you pull hate :D

If on cooldown will cast SB, if not SS then SB

bit of a waste of a good cd... would mean you use it instantly at the start of a fight where you already have 0 threat... if I were to have a macro of a similar sort it'd be something like:
/cast [modifier:alt] Soulshatter
/cast Shadowbolt
you really only want to use soulshatter for emergencies or at about 60-70% on a boss and when you hit 120-125% the MTs threat... anything before that is generally a waste unless your tank sucks *****

not only that, but due to the global cooldown, you would have to press the button once.
I think what he is trying to do, is when he gets to the point where he needs it, press a different button than the normal SB button and use it then immediately cast SB. There is no way to do this because of the global cool down. The alt modifier, or just using it on a separate button by itself are the best ways to do it.
