Hello,
I've started playing WoW again after a few years' hiatus. I had a 60 Prot Warrior pre-TBC in an end-game (for the time) guild, and at that point it seemed like there was nowhere I could go and NOT have a group clamoring for more members to do any given instance. Now that I've come back to the game, I'm finding that it's much harder to get groups! I've rolled two characters to 30ish (a Warlock and a Rogue), both times without doing any instances -- not because I didn't want to, but because finding a group was like pulling teeth.
So I decided to start a Priest, because I got the greatest kick out of helping people as my Warrior, and it's hard to give a hand when you're soloing all the time. I figured I might as well up the ante and go full-out as a Priest, figuring I'd have no problems getting groups -- people always need healers, right? So far, that hasn't been the case. Now I'm still low-level, so maybe I'm jumping to conclusions, but I was just wondering if any of you guys could advise me on what my future is going to look like in old Azeroth. Has everyone really fled to the Outlands? It seems like if it's not SM, no one wants to run it in the old world. Am I going to be stuck healing SM for twenty levels (although even that is looking good versus soloing those levels)?
I rolled a Priest because I wanted to group and be as helpful as possible in instances -- do I have to wait until 58+ to be able to do that?
I play on Dalaran if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance for your responses!
