I know there are many threads on what is the easiest Heroic, but I am wondering what is the easy list for Resto Shamans specifically.

Thanks.

Really the easiest Heroic instances are just that, the easiest.

Slave Pens, Underbog, Steam Vaults, Mechanar, Botanica, Ramparts are all pretty easy.

If you have a good tank and crowd Control Magister's Terrace is pretty easy too (but a lot of people still have a big phobia against that place)
With a good pally tank you can also find Shattered Halls to be very easy, but other tanks have trouble in there specialy without much crowd control.

Heroics are overrated, if you have a decent tank its really not hard to heal in them at all, crowd control of coarse makes it easier, knowledge of the instance really helps (nothing worse then bringing a party member thats like sweet just hit 70 today and i did enough quests when i was lower level to be able to do heroic already, first time here lolol fun right...).

Generaly though in heroics it goes like this, Warriors eat hits well but lose agro on his off targets often and you may need to heal a dps or yourself and pray tank knows it is his job to save the day. Druid tanks generaly eat hits ok and have good armor but don't mitigate like warriors and pallies so sometimes you really have to spam heal them, they also seem to do a little bit better on tanking multiple enemies.

For warrior and druid 1-2 CC in group helps a lot, but if you have a pally you can get away with 0 CC, pallies generally have lowest amount of health specially newer 70 pallies, there armor tands to be less for a bit too, but you just gotta spam heal them sometimes having to use Lesser Healing wave, you really can not neglect pally tanks too much at all, but they tank many enemies with ease.

Heroics get easier and easier to heal from here, i would say stat priorities are +healing, mana regen, int and thats pretty much it stam is always a nice bonus though. The better your +healing is the better your earthen shield is which really makes things easier to do, with a stacked tank and a good amount of + healing you may not need to heal much at all for some pulls.

Good luck and have fun in your heroics.

My opinions are biased since I've done them in a wide variety of gear with a wide variety of adventurers, so I'll try to remain general. My easiest-to-hardest (hardest boss in parenthesis cause I'm bored):

Slave Pens (Rokmar)
Mechanar (Sepethera, by far)
Ramparts (Omor)
Blood Furnace (Broggok)
Underbog (all easy)
Shadow Lab ("Time for fun!")
Botanica (all easy)
Steam Vaults (Thespia)
Shattered Halls (Bladefist)
Crypts (Shirrak)
Magister's Terrace (group dependant)
Mana Tombs (Pandemonius)
Sethekk Halls (Ikiss)
Arcatraz (I hate them all)
Dark Portal (Aeonus)*
Durnholde (the whole friggin' thing)*

*haven't tried CoT since the nerf. They used to be EVIL though, with lots of staying power required.

I've found that personally SV, SH , SL, and MrT are easier to heal than generally accepted, while UB, Bot, and Arc are harder than baseline. MrT is highly dependant on the group though, whereas good heals and tank can carry most of the other instances. I don't know what the deal with Arc is, I've just always had trouble with that place.

The shortcomings of a heroic resto shaman are non-mobile heals (makes fights like fire lady in mech difficult), limited HoT options (earth shield helps a lot, but still susceptible to spikes), curses and magic (hopefully a party member has them covered). To a lesser extent, we can run into problems with single-target throughput (we need to stack healing way to match the other healers) and mana regen (water shield helps, but the spirit change to priests and druids helped them a lot more while illumination is still godly for pallies).
We also have 0 CC options (you can't kite and heal at the same time), while druids have hibernation/cyclone, priests have shackle/fear, and pallies have turn undead/HoJ--they're not much (especially since I can't think of many undead in heroics), but still better than we have.

The benefits are armor that lets us take a hit or two, multi-target healing (duh), and the best 5-man buffs of any healer. There is no instance that is "too hard" for us merely based on class limitations.

Honestly, (with what the two posters above said), I haven't had any issues healing any heroic so far. But then again, it really all depends on the make up of the group. You can be the best healer there, but if your tank is undergeared, it'd be hard for anyone.

In my opinion they are in this order:

Ramps
UB
Slave Pens
Mech

I have done ramps before with people under 70 before and with tanks with less than 10k hp.

Some of the other instances are pretty easy too. The best bet, before attempting ANY heroic, make sure too look up the fights before attempting them. But this goes for any class just not shamans.

The worst instance that i can think of with out someone who can dispell magic is mana tombs.

How and the heck do you get through that last room without dieing so much? Having to heal through those dots is so hard its crazy!
