Greetings shaman community!

I started a shaman lately and I am leveling this guy as an enhancement. I'm only 29, but I'm starting to plan for later. At 40, I plan going dual wield (of course) and I'm waiting for the 2nd Heaven's light to come on the AH. But I was wondering what enchants to put on both of them.

I did take some time to read through the threads, and did some search on the web, but I always find information applying to lvl 70 shammies (which is quite normal). I don't plan putting Executioneer and Moongose on the weapons at level 40... it's quite overkill since I will change them pretty fast.

So I was wondering which other enchants to get on those weapon. I was thinking about Crusader on at least one. On the other, I have no clue. Since the itemization for dual wield shammies are quite rare prior to lvl 50 or 60, I guess the two maces I'm buying now will be kept for some time. So any idea for me?

I went with the enchants that increase damage, uhm... Striking or Impact I dunno which it was. The reason I chose these is that there is just not enough information on something like Crusader on a weapon pre-60. The other big problem that I had was that I felt like it was money poorly spent when I was going to end up switching the weapon out as soon as something with a better damage rating came along. I guess that is just my two cents...

I already have crusader on my lvl 21 blue 2h... it's.. money spent on weapons that should be changed soon (haven't found one yet tho). But as you can see in my sig, I already have a 70 that can do dailies and get the money pretty quick for a crusader. I may even try to farm those orbs to lower the cost of the enchants.

As you can see in my sig (again), I have no melee toon (except that druid, but except +agi enchant, weapon enchant are pretty much useless),so I cant speak about crusader.

In the end, I think you are right, I should get the Striking / Impact or w/e it is called and not bother too much with that. I'll take a look at +agi enchant (the +15 one) and see if it's not too expensive.. more crit is always nice =)

Thanks!

For chants i would say Fiery or Crusader is fine really depends on what kind of monies you got but i don't see much point in spending too much on something that will be replaced soon so I would go with Fiery, its reliable and cheap.

I noticed you mentioned Getting DW at 40, yes DW is the way to go when you have access but grab Storm Strike first you will see a bigger boost in DPS from Storm Strike at that level, then get Dual wield and Imp. Dual wield. The reason, when you go DW you lose massive amount of elee hit, Storm Strike requires very little +hit to land so having that to help you keep up in damage is a big help, I would also suggest even if you have 2 weapons ready don't go and sell the 2h just yet, hang on to it for when you seem to be missing too much with dual wield, may run into an enemy acoupke levels higher then you that just makes you miss more then you would want to.

Anyhow good luck, Dual Wield is great but people need to know Storm Strike is not ment to be neglected =P

I was not about to neglect it.. but I would not have taken it at 40 tho. I see your point and I may use that instead of going DW at 40.. i'll wait at 41 =) What's 1 level anyway? :)

Well you say one level but I am sure you would have gotten Dual Wield Excited and went for DW then IMP DW and to increase hit to see the change in dps, and then you would have been like oh that was cool now I will get Storm Strike like the nubbies on my server =P

But Ya strom strike is just amazing and the way it works is like WF so it requires a lot less hit to connect attacks even when DW.
