So i'm wanting to make a warrior but i know i'm going to spend a lot of time soloing, I'm thinking about doing the DW Fury spec for leveling but can't decide on race. going to play ally.

Long Answer: Which ever one you think is the prettiest and would like to look at for hours of play time.

Short answer: PVE Realm: doesn't matter. PVP Realm: still doesn't matter. Role playing realm: which ever is demanded by your story.

Human for less rep grinding/Expertise.

Dwarf for stoneform (bleed removal)

Night elf for stealth, 1% free dodge

Gnome for engineering buff, escape artist

For solo play, I really think Gnome's escape ability and engineering bonus beat all other racials. Being able to break a rooting effect can often mean the difference between winning and a corpse run while solo leveling. But at the raid tank level, the gnome abilities are perhaps the weakest choice. For raid tanking, really dwarf and human are the best two choices in terms of racials.

My personal preference for Alliance is Draenei. You get a heal. Really nice for those sticky situations (when soloing). +1% hit is nice for hit capping at end game.

BUT - that is just my personal preference.

All are fine. Racials do not make or break anything.

thanks for all the input. I didn't think that the Draenei's +1% effected them only thier allies

What stats should I look for on my gear for a Fury warrior?

In no specific order
• Strength
• Agility
• Attack Power
• Crit rating
• Hit rating

You won't see either of the bottom 2 in large enough quantities till 60's.

Heroic Presence - Increases chance to hit by 1% for you and all party members within 30 yards. (Warriors, Paladins, and Hunters)

FreeTrial is right though - +hit doesn't really mean much at the early levels (i.e. before lvl 70) since you can't really stack it. However, it does mean a lot when you hit lvl 70. Unless you plan to stop playing once you hit lvl 70, I would not recommend that you turn a blind eye to things that will help you when you get there.

As for what stats to look for to DPS - check the DPS sticky. It's got a lot of good info, especially when you have to choose between pieces.
