SILENCE!
I think we have enough of those hunters on every server and while they are easy (boring) to lvl I don't see that shaman would be hard to lvl after 30. At 40/41 (as enhancement ofc) I was walking over mobs 3-4 lvl above me with no hard time. Why rogue and not druid? With rogue u have no choices really in endgame but as druid you can do anything and ur most welcome in allmost any guild or group (depending on spec needed atm).
But if shaman is your first choice, yeh the first 20 (and even 30) levels will be little lame and after that u start to own pve. Reading helps alot and remember to ask if u dont know.
LOL sorry I'm not trying to encourage an increase in the huntard population here! I'm just telling him what I found from my personal experience. I did not personally find my shaman was that difficult to level, but again, I had friends that I would often pair up with from 40-60 to bang out a whole series of quests. 60-65 was a bit tough going in the OL, but as soon as you get SR and watershield, the mobs start dropping fast and your mana is always high.
BM hunters are ridiculously easy to level now. I could farm elites 2+ levels above me, granted I had to blow all cooldowns, but it could be done. I remember farming those elite frost giants over in winterspring in my 50's. Hunters are the ultimate solo artists in WoW...I don't think any other class can solo elite group quests as well as a hunter. I have tried every class, a BM hunter is the easiest, and fastest thing to level in the game, no question.
As for rogues, a combat rogue can chop up mobs like butter with little down-time, that is why i picked them. Rogues are a very close second to hunters for leveling ease. He wasn't asking about endgame, he was asking about leveling, rogues are far easier to level than druids. A combat rogue can pull multiple mobs when evasion is up for super-fast XP grinding. With my druid, i found leveling to be noticeably slower than my rogue/hunter/shaman.
