When using my spreadsheet that i got from Theophany's journal (thanks)
ive realized that some of these regular raid pieces are better than t4!
example: Cowl of Defiance > Netherblade Facemask
I figured that it may not put into account the fact that they have gem slots and the set +'s
but even so, there is a dps difference of 39! is it possible to gain 39 dps with gems and set abilities alone? are the raid epics just better to use?

most spreadsheets account for gems and set bonuses. maybe you just have a bad one.
Cowl is not better than Netherblade.
Use a RED in your meta slot.
