Some gear changes for T5 :: Free Realms

Hey, guys. I've been reading threads here for a long time and I really enjoy the advices.
So..I'm a cookie-cutter BM hunter nd my guild is starting T5.
I don't PvP at all but I would do it if the gear is a big improvment.
Also, I think my crit is very low, should I sacrifice some AP to raise it a bit?
My questions would be mainly about gear I should get:

Meele Weapon: Legacy, Trollbane or S3 axe? For te future: The 2hand badge gear or the 1hands badge gear? They both seem pretty awesome.
Trinket: I've got Blaefist's Breadth and Assassins Alchemist Stone. Should I get rid of one or both of them for Dragonspine Trophy and Bloodlust Brooch?
Rings: Ring of a Thousand Marks and the best VIolet Signet. Is the Ring of Lethality from Hydross or the Garona's from Curator be better? Angelista's revenge maybe but I'd need more hit.
Chest: Scaled Drakeskin CHestguard (new bdge gear) or the Rangers-General from Hydross? (I got both)
Helm: T4 helm, Maulgar's Warhelm, Steelspine Faceguard from Aran or the S1 helm?

And finnaly, should I work to get the new badges pants and gloves? or is the Voidreaver Greaves from Void Reaver better? Maye a T5 glove too?

I recommend you get an addon called rating buster. It will summarize the stats of items to let you easily compare them.

two quick comments. a) don't socket intellect. b) you're over hit cap (142) so don't socket hit. I usually aim for 1% below hit cap so that I can take advantage of hit food or the draenei aura depending on the circumstance.

For specific gear I recommend you use a combination of this spreadsheet and common sense.

A note though, most of the badge gear is better then SSC/TK loot.

I can't use the spreadsheet cuz my Excel ist working at all. Maybe a virus or something =P

download Open Office and escape the bonds of Microsoft! The even have an ods version of the spreadsheet, so no worries!

Have anyone managed to pull off a working WoW in Linux that won't get you banned yet?

Well, I've played wow in linux, and I'm not banned, but I only played it once. It was fun. I was running around at double speed. Never did figure out why. Can't remember the name of the emulator I used to run it though. hmm.

Emulating it is easy. The problem lies within WoW detecting any emulator as "third party software" and just might ********** your account. I was just curious to see if you'd heard of any way of playing WoW on Linux without being banned.

Thanks again for the Open Office thing, I've downloaded it today =)

But could you guys help me at least with the Trinkets please?

I'm very confused with all the "uses" and "procs" =/
Bloodlust Brooch, Tsunami Talisman, Assassin's Alchemist Stone and Dragonspine Trophy.
Are there 1 or 2 of these you think is much better than the others to start T5 content?
I have the Alch Stone and Bladefist's blue trink...And I'll probably get the BB soon.

I really apprecate any help with this =)

If you get Judgement of Wisdom on the boss, or have a SP in your group, you won't need to use the stone. DST+Tsunami, or DST+BB, just plug BB/Tsunami into the spreadsheet and see what gives you more DPS. Generally, if you are SV, you would prefer Tsunami. As I said before though, if you are going OOM using Fel Mana pots, you should switch to the alchemist's stone.

Glad it does =)

So I should use DST all the time for the haste procs? (I dont have that much haste in my gear so I wont be "over hasted"

Cheeky's has a more complicated tab for DST use, so you might not want to include it in your calculations for a while. It is, however, one of the best trinkets for those who use 3:2 (you should unless you are mana starved as BM), and isn't replaced until the trinket from M'uru.

The DST is one of the best trinkets in the game. Consider yourself VERY fortunate to have one. Over 30 gruul's run and have never seen it drop. I am quite envious, as you have a few very good trinkets, and I am 5/5 Hyjal and 6/9 BT and I'm still stuck with the BB and hourglass. Would love to have the Tsunami and DTS.

I was just considering the option cuz I'm starting to farm Leo and I farm Gruulz every week.
I hope I'm lucky with the drops
