Rogue scripts?Follow

#1 Jun 12 2008 at 12:48 AM Rating: Decent
Hi, in all BG's I was in, when my raid will face a tough opponent, I see ALL Horde rogues have some scripting who makes them to run around their objective, I can say it is a script, because when I counteract and move backward, the rogues will NOT directly go to me to blow the final, SURE lethal, attack, but they advance to me making a somewhat "S" like a snake Smiley: lol, makin me to have more time to recover and counteract.

My guess is the guy behind the keyboard will press forward key, but the script will try to make the circles anyway (he still hadn't lose target, so script still triggered, my guess).

I also notice a really perfect-timed objective selection by hordes, something I will never achieved even with my party using TS (or Vent), thats impressive! 5 Hordes targetting me in about 0,1s... it is deadly Smiley: eek

So the question is, are really some kind of scripts around, or it is just I will face lots of really well skilled-keyboard-masters rogues?

No scripts here.
No keyboard turning here.

Mouse binds and turning only.

No idea what you're talking about man. The only time I complained about sth like this is when 5 elemental shamies were played by one single guy (dual-boxing powaaa) who was thus able to cast 5 bolts at the same time and insta-kill pretty much any target.

Other than that, you might have face a couple of well-coordinated guys using voice-communication but I guess that's all. I don't think that there are any scripts to make you stick to an opponent like what you described.

It's not a script.

They're just using q and e to starfe around you ina circle, and when you move back they react slow for soem reason.

Got the point.
It feels good to know they were not cheaters but just godlike players (yep they exists, I just have to improve to be able to face them and survive a little more Smiley: grin).

Or maybe they were just 'good' pvp players and I still suck alot, so I see any normal action done by them like somethin of paranormal ability Smiley: eek

Btw, everything more clear now. Thanks.

I have screenies of a guy 5-boxing 5 shammies in AV, named them all sweet something or other (Sweetpea, sweettea, etc.). He defended Bal the entire time. I also heard there were two guys dual 5-boxing shammies running Kara...

Just last night I saw a guy 4 boxing shammies with the exact same gear setup and talent build (40/0/21). It was wicked to see him drop 16 totems wtfheal/pwn/dps/protect anything. And when he had you targetted, you were goin down...

We've discussed this a few months ago when I posted about it on the general discussion board. Bottom line is: if it's a well-oiled machine, it's pretty damn impossible to beat him (I meam, them!) solo: when you're targetted, you're pretty much toasted. But if several people attack simultaneously and do sth like an AoE fear in the middle of the 5 shamies or stuff like that, the 5 characters are not coordinated anymore and it becomes near impossible for the single human behind the screen to manage them all (he must manoeuvre them individually, bring back the deads from the rez point, etc. and it's a huge mess). But it usually takes about 10 players to take down a guy 5-boxing :)
