So, I have obviously leveled all the way to 50 using Afflic. But, from level 16 (life tap) to now 50, I have had my 70 holy paladin following her around for the no down time aspect of life tap > Heal.
So, my question to everyone is this, since I will have this paladin at all times when I am leveling her, should I level Afflic, Demo, or Destro? It seems I have mainly got the response from locsk I've asked to level Destro. But, I would just like to get a more broad opinion from the more experienced warlock community. I appreciate any and all constructive input.

Well destro does the most dmg in the least amount of time, but you'll be lifetapping alot, which isn't a problem with the paladin, but the around 7 second wait for lifetap to full and holy light may cause more downtime than lvling affliction, plus if you pull multiple mobs it will take alot longer to kill all of them.
I found right up to 60 was a breeze as Affliction. Early 60's were a bit slow, but then I got my Netherweave set (+spell dmg) and things are a lot easier to kill.
I haven't tried any other spec, but hear that Destro leaves you with not much survivability though you can hit really hard. Demonology seems to be very popular post 50 as well with the Felguard and his greater tanking abilities over the VW.
I am planning on doing a decent amount of BG's from 68-70 and will most likely give Destro a go as it seems to be a popular one for BG's.

if you go demo you might as well park the pally cause she won't be needed(post 58 atleast), if you want the quickest kills stay affliction, dont get UA but get iHoT, put your 3 Insta dots&Howl of Terror&Darkpact&lifetap on your bar and go hunting, use a succubus on defensive with all of her abilities turned off and run through a field dotting anything you see. Siphon Life>CoA>Corruption.
Pull mobs till you run out of mana dark pact then pull somemore, once you've run out of mobs or depleted yours and your succys mana, lifetap/get heals, move onto next area.
