I have healed a few instances (Nothing higher than SM Cath)

I'm 10 pts Holy
Rest in Ret.

I find that putting up Defense has been generally pretty good. I have used Shadow Resist and Fire Resist, but it was very situational. I ran once with 3 casters - Me Paly Heals, 2 mages, Druid tank, and a hunter. I tried the anti-spell interupt aura, but it wasn't worth it.

I bless DPS Melee with Might
I bless Casters with Wisdom

If DPS misbehave and pull agro - they get Salvation (Reduce Threat)

To be honest when I play as my mage - I prefer BoK and BoW about equally. Kings helps in many ways, but honestly - Most runs are about speed. The few extra DPS I get from Kings are nice, but, without testing this hypothesis - I think the added +Mana Regen is my preference. (aka - less time drinking water is more time pew-pew) Both seem pretty good. I haven't run any Heroics, so maybe BoS is the way to go there. No idea personally.

*That being said - most Paly just drop BoK on the mages.

5 man put up Devo aura, Conc aura in certain situations but you really shouldnt be getting hit.

BoL or BoK the Tank.

Salv the dps, regardless of what they say. Hunters being the exception but if they pull aggro and die they get salv whether they like it or not.

Wisdom on yourself.

If you have more than one pally just throw dps buffs up as 2nd blessings. Might for physical dps, wisdom for casters (better kings but only if you have it).

Use Devo Aura in most instances, unless you need a resistance for some reason, which you probably won't.
And if you have another pally you could go with concentration aura.

Your blessing will depend on your groups gear and the difficulty of the instance. This is just a general list you can mix match any type of blessing you want.

Tank- BoL, BoK if your comfortable with your plus healing.
Rogue- BoK, or BoM(only if you don't have BoK, this will hold for most other BoK)
Hunter- BoK, or BoW(this will only happen on occasion if there is a prolonged fight or the hunter isn't happy with his mana regen)
Druid- BoW(healer), BoK (dps)
Warrior-BoK( If he isn't the tank)
Shaman- BoK(they got totems for everything else)
Warlock-BoW
Mage-BoW
Priest-BoW

Also you could put Salv on any of the dps if they are pulling off the tank.

This is for 5 mans, if you have a second pally in the group it will change so just go with your gut.

Actually Kings for Warlocks generally. I don't believe I've ever had a Warlock ask for Wisdom over Kings. If I'm the only Paladin though the DPS will all get Salvation, so for 5 mans that is pretty much a moot point (unless I know the person won't be able to pull aggro due to gear/skill/whatever).

BoK is much better for locks, though if you dont have it then Salv.

Always salv dps.

Our resto shammies generate threat like nobody's business, so I always need to keep Salv up on them.... Is there something else they should be doing? My premise to date has been that they get Salv and drop a Mana Spring totem instead of getting BoW and dropping Tranquil Air. Perhaps I've been wrong though, any advice would be appreciated.

Shadow priests, like locks, tend to prefer BoK over BoW. Moonkin often prefer BoW over BoK. Hunters in my experience are usually more or less evenly split in their preference for BoM or BoW (though if you have more than one in your party, it's a guarantee that each will want a different blessing).

Always salv DPS anyone who isn't a tank or a paladin.

Salv on Resto Druids and Shammies and even Priests if they are generating threat is a good idea.

Heals generate 1/2 threat, so if you heal the tank for 1,000 it would be the equivalent of hitting the mob for 500. Depending on how much you have to heal that can generate enough threat to pull aggro. Paladins are unique in that our heals generate 1/4 threat so 1,000 heal = hitting mob for 250. So if you are playing ret or playing Prot feel free to salv healers too if threat is an issue.
