well, I ot'd Mag's lair for the first time this week, and around 30% when it was almost time to click the cube, his earthquake pused me to the opposite side of the room from my cube, making it impossible to get to it in time.

needless to say, it was a wipe, but I can't think of any way i could have fixed it.

is there any way to control your direction while you're being bounced?

Nope. Best you can do is intervene someone next to your cube to make up ground.

It is a lot harder for melee to do but definitely possible. Now since your OTing it I dont know why they would make you click in the first place unless the the MT was right next to a cube for you, even then its difficult with Mag's fat *** all up in your screen. There is that little sweet spot between the box and the wall were you can place your toon so you dont move around, instead you kind of bounce in place for the duration. Then when its done you can click right when he starts channeling. Again since your the fall back I would recommend you get a dpser to click in your place since your job would be to keep Mag's hate on you.

I meant to say have your back to the wall and face your cube.

This. First of all try to stay near your cube. When you have 10-15 seconds left to the clicking, run to the wall by your cube and face the cube. That way the earthquake will bounce you in place.

I was only one of 5 tanks, and they wanted people with high stam to click the cubes.

I had been running back early, but the earthquake caught me just as I was about to run back - bad timing

I'll see what I can do about it next time - the whole intervene to a healer or ranged DPS idea sounds good

thanks for the input :)
