#1 Jun 11 2008 at 7:38 AM Rating: Decent
HI MAGES!

Im dinging level 70 soon. Im relly interested in arena fights, and I just cant decide who to bring as partner for 2v2 battles. I know gear reqirements *min 200res ect.* but I dont know what class to party with.Im thinking about other DPS class since healers cant hold me allive I think because of my cloth armour. So I think a hunter or rogue would be the best.

PLS share me your oppinion about partners.

Thanks for your repplies!

As I understand it, Mage/Rogue is our strongest 2v2 combination.

Mage/Rogue, Mage/Dpriest, Mage/Mage, Mage/Hunter, Mage/EShaman, Mage/Rpal

In fairly rough order of best to worst.

Although your "order" I don't agree with, these are the teams you could be looking for. But since your just starting and won't have the gear yet I'd go with mage/rogue. When you get gear mage/Rpally is a great combo if you can actually find a pally with ret gear. I couldn't get past 1800 with a S3 rogue but shot stright to 1900 with only 2 losses with a S3 pally (I'm S3).

Mage/Mage is really fun with you both have gear. Try out 1 frost 1 deep arcane with pyro. You'll have a blast confusing the crap out of teams. Mage/Hunter has way to many anti-teams to be really effective, although it was pretty fun for a bit. Mage/DPSsham has some awesome burst. Mage/disc priest is fun untill you run into lock/druid or rogue/druid (and you will.. alot).

My new team now I'm having alot of fun with is mage/shadow priest. Got to 1714 on our first night and scored lots of 22-24 pointers from higher raited teams. It's actually my fav team against X/druid so far.
