Ok,

My main is a 70 mage. Mages are not the best PVP class and I was never really into it. I like the idea of PVP Pally. I've been playing WSG, waiting outside the horde's base, Healing the runner as he comes to me, then BoF if he needs it. I keep up with them as best I can, Then I fall of to pick off one or two Hordies somewhere before our base. (Usually I try to grab a fast guy like cats or mages -- plus mages have a lot of CC so picking a fight with them helps our runner get home.)

After this I usually Rez, run over to the Flag Carrier and defend, BoF, and heal him/her until we can score (aka - we get our flag back). I've had good success with this so far, but last night I was getting destroyed.

They had 2 Locks. One was fairly well equiped - the other looked like me (aka good PVE gear, but nothing spectacular for 39 Bracket, no noticeable enchants). Either one destroyed me. I'd be waiting outside, for the heal, BoF, run back - suddenly I'm afflicted with a hand full of DOTs. I could bubble it off, but still - I was not coming back...

Am I just underpowered Vs Locks until cleanse at Lvl 42?

The balance between all classes seems to swing back and forth a lot before 70. Around lv 50-60, i actually had a lot of fun fighting warlocks, as a Ret paladin, repentance the lock, Turn Evil the pet, Hammer of Justice the lock again (let's see how you like losing control of your character Mister!) smack away. Basically, get your Insignia trinket as soon as humanly possible.

You NEED the cleanse though, or you'll just bleed all your health away. A gambit i like using against casters is using Divine shield early and aggressively, relying on judges, crusader strike and consecrate to deal enough damage to make them panic. Get's rid of all the inevitable DoTs too. You lose your main "Oh ****" button, but it's still a little safer than Avenging Wrath.

Every player is different of course, i tend to have huge trouble with hunters especially, shamans and sometimes priests too.

I was going to add some insight to fighting warlocks, and I totally forgot about the flowchart that I made there. Way to dig that up, lol.

Anyway, yeah that chart pretty much sums up how I fight warlocks for the majority of the time.

*Oh and the method for killing in that "KILL HIM" section, Artemis' is pretty spot on. Hope you can kill him in that 6 second window you have for the stun (Actually less than that at your level). You can try healing through the damage, but they will fear you out of that, getting a few more seconds on their dot ticks. If they dont you can heal through it until someone else comes and kills them.
