How much dps should i be doing in SSC, TK and Hyjal? Im at 1264 AP, 25% crit and 81 hit (125 Armor penetration)

how is that bad? im pulling off 1100 on a regular basis, and 1400 on long boss fights, how much AP should i have?

Considering you pretty much just have to gear for AP and crit, that AP is like pre-T4 gear quality.

umm... in my pvp gear i have 1458 ap. 27.34% crit.
and when i switch to my pve gear.. i get close to 1580 ap with about 26% crit.. and i have mostly t4 or t4.5 gear with t5 shoulders...

Sorry, but I call shenanigans on you being able to pull "1400 on long boss fights" with stats like that. Just checking my armory, with only MOTW up I've got about 1570ap, 33.9% crit, 123 hit, 7 expertise, 21 haste, and 413 ArP. Even on a fight like Teron where you have massive heroism uptime, full drums rotation, and higher haste pot uptime, I'll pull around 1500-1600 according to WWS. But I digress...
That aside, you should pull as much as your guild is willing to take you with. If they say you need to get xxxx dps or you dont come, well, then you need to kindly inform them that melee dps is heavily dependent on group/raid makeup, so you will probably see massive variations from week to week depending on group makeup.

Who cares about his dps as long as he's pulling a decent amount and is totem swapping for the melee group.
