Which Weapon Enchant?Follow

I am 4 badges away from http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=34896 right now. So I have started thinking about what enchant I should put on the weapon.

Right now, just replacing the gavel I will have 2030 + healing, about 95 mana and about 210 mp5 while casting (if the sandbox at resto4life.com is correct). So, is it worth it to add 81 healing? Or do I add 30 intellect, which would raise mana and a little bit of regen, or do I go with spell surge? Or, the one that I am thinking off, being totally silly and putting on 20 spirit to it. The 20 spirit would be very expensive, but would also add about 7 mp5 on the weapon.

I am an enchanter and can do all the enchants above, just was curious what some number crunchers would think. Thank you for your input.

BTW, I do kara, ZA and heroics, so I don't do high end raiding where you might need 2400 healing.

Personally, I'd put the +81 healing on it, while keeping an eye on the rest of my gear and switching to +30 int when/if I needed the additional boost to my mana pool. The 20 spirit is tempting, though ... an additional 5 spelldamage/healing (more for GH) , plus mp/5, isn't that bad a thought.

As for spellsurge ... I've got no experience with it, but I've read commentary stating that it can be decent for use within a caster group. Especially if more than one person in the group has the enchant.

Get +81 healing. If you want, put spellsurge on another weapon and get an add-on called Caster Weapon Swapper (I think that's right) to swap it in and out to get the spellsurge proc.

Your +healing is easily enough for your current content, but your mp5 is fairly decent too (when I was holy I had less +healing more mp5, but I gemmed for mp5 as the highest priority, meh). So in reality whatever enchant you put on it will not be crucial. However spellsurge only really reaches its potential when everyone in your group has a mana bar, an uncommon occurance in heroics. Likewise if you raid with a shadowpriest in your group the extra mana from spellsurge will not be as noticed.

+81 healing is really a general purpose healer enchant. It's always useful, almost everyone gets it, and it helps with all stages of level 70 content, from heroics to sunwell. Spellsurge is far more specific. I suspect it would outclass +81 healing if you were in a group which needed every scrap of mana it could get, when you were spamming a fast casting spell with a small +healing coefficient, and not being the designated main tank healer. Constantly healing the raid up with circle comes to mind here.

This is just my opinion though, i'm no good at number crunching for enchants. Remember this IS just a game, and if you have the gold for it and the numbers don't particularly matter, just go with the one with the prettiest glow :D

If you want regen, get it through gems or gear. +81 healing is the best for your weapon, perhaps with an "offweapon" with Spellsurge enchanted to switch out when the cooldown is up.

What Freak said. Get 81 healing on your main healing weapon, and throw spellsurge on the old one you are replacing. There are mods out there that will track the cooldown of Spellsurge, so you can switch your weapons midfight. That will allow you to get the benefit of spellsurge's regen, while maintaining the added plus heal on the new weapon.
