Hi Rogues,

trying to get serious in arena and realize I have to learn this focus stuff to be as efficient as I can. But basically I know nothing about it other then the focus target is the one you want to have cc'd while you burn the other opponent down. From what I've heard with the proper macros you can easily apply your Blind(for example) exactly when needed without having to mess around with targeting the opponent that is to be blinded.(or maybe Im' completely wrong lol)

I've went through the stickys here and could not locate anything on Rogue focus macros so this is why I come to you vets here. Could anyone give me a crash course on how this works and heck, the macros needed too? /beg

My partner is a Frost Mage if this helps any.

Thanks in advance!

The macro is as follows:

#showtooltip
/cast [focus=harm, exists] Blind; Blind

This will Blind your focus if it's an enemy, in range, and you have a focus target, if not, it will Blind your current target.

To set your focus, target an enemy and use a macro for /focus.

I am lazy...

I just use Control Arena, since I can bind abilities to both left and right click on the enemy unit frame. With all my abilities bound to the side buttons and wheel of my mouse, I just leave the pointer close to the frame and click for blind when needed.
