any tips for the 1st boss in acFollow
hey i just got to lvl 66 and am trying to heal ac but the first boss seems to be super hard to main heal without someone with me helping any tips?
One main tip I can give you would be try and keep renew up at all times. Try to use instant cast heals as much as possible. Also if you have people with DoTs make sure they keep those on the bosses at all time.
Honestly, the biggest tip is that your group understands the strategy.
1) Casters stay as far away to get the least amount of de-buff (Healing time increases the closer you get). If you get sucked in (boss special ability), turn around and run back to your original position ASAP. Do not try to cast a heal while you are there (unless it is an instant one).
2) Position yourselves in a triangle. Tank & melee at one point. You at the other. Ranged DPS at 3rd point. Make sure you are at max distance from each other.
2a) If you get "targeted", run to ranged DPS point to avoid more damage.
2b) If tank or melee gets "targeted", they should run to you to avoid damage.
2c) If ranged DPS get "targeted", they should run to you to avoid damage.
The key is to get out of the flare ASAP. If anyone gets hit with it and stands there, they will die. You don't even want to try and keep healing through that...
Finally - follow Twirdman's advice.

Positioning is key in this fight because of his aura. I like to have the tank keep him at the bottom of the stairs while I stay as far back on the bridge as possible. Stay on the edge of the bridge and strafe left or right to avoid the flares.
Keep Renew up at all times and keep the tank shielded. Make sure you bring some mana pots because this is one fight that seems to be mana intensive (at least it is for me). Good luck!

yeah, this one is easier as a priest than many other classes. lots of PoM, shield and renews are the order of the day for this guy. If you're going to greater heal in this fight make it a max rank and you should be fine.
