dps cycleFollow

Yes I know the different cycles and yes I know how to do each. I'm fully able to do every single one except for 1s5r because i don't have the 2 t4 set.

ANYWAY. I've gone through several different dps cycles through bosses and unfortunately I don't have a dps meter to tell me which ultimately gives more so I turn to you guys.

The real question is which dps cycle gives off the best dps.
Trash i use a 2sXe X being whichever number of combo points i generate before the mob is about to die, generally 4-5. Tell me if I'm wrong here but I don't think I am because rupture generally doesn't last long enough to get the full effect and envenom you end up losing dps by trashing deadly

On bosses I use a 2s to start it off just to get SnD up from the start then go for 4s5r and rinse and repeat. Would something like a 2s4r cycle eventually give more dps, or a 1s5r once I get t4 legs finally...(done gruuls about 14 times now, lost roll on legs each time, and the trink to a rogue once, then 3 other times to hunters -_-)

theres a few interesting things about cycles.
first the spread sheet is the optimal cycle, but you also have to learn to adapt to situations as well.

on trash mobs SnD should always be up. dont envenom unless a mobs near dead and your SnD timer is higher than ~12 seconds, dont rupture unless its on a mob that isnt going down fast (sometimes we put rogues on the OT's mobs so they can kick casters). ultimately you want to just do straight damage.

for anything thats not going down fast you want to try to have as many CPs on your ruptures as possible. its somewhat random due to relentless strikes and ruthlessness, but you want to rupture when your around 6 seconds on your SnD timer, then get 2-4 CPs for a SnD. this might vary a bit if you have to save energy for kicks. one thing to not do, is just hit SnD fast cause its about to run out, and never spam. its usually better for your DPS to drop a rupture then pick up a 1 CP SnD then try to get back on cycle.
