How do you send your pet into attack, without taking it off of passive and it going after everything else lol, thanks.
one of the buttons on the pet bar is called "pet attack"...if it's not there then you get it from the spells menu and put it there.

What he said. The default keybinding is CTRL-1.
Or set yourself up a nice macro. One I used to use was:
/petattack
/cast Curse of Shadows (or whatever spell you want)
With FG, he'll charge and by the time your CoS has landed you can use other dots or spam Shadow Bolt. You can, of course, expand on that macro, but the global cooldown means you have to keep clicking it. No big deal, but I preferred flexibility so never bothered adding more to it. I have for my hunter though. Macros rule for hunters.
