Then re-seal myself get the benefit of the seal - Gaining mana.

aka - can I double dip and get the +mana from both (The judge on the mob and the seal on me)???

Thanks

Actualy you can and it's really usefull. With my prot paly (lvl 50) i can actually take easily 5 mobs, and still have more then half of my mana and health bar with a mixt between seal of wisdom and seal of light.

This is the best seal ever for taking on elites while soloing (elites that are 2-3 levels higher than you are). I would never run out of mana (which means I never run out of health). It may take a while to kill some of them, but I won't die :)

Why limit yourself to only double dipping? If you cast Rank 1 Consecration at the same time, Judgment of Wisdom should always proc enough times to completely cover the cost of the Consecration and often give you a little extra back.

Depending on the group, I also like to judge Wisdom at the beginning of the Attumen and Illhoof fights in Kara in order to give the DPS a little extra mana to work with. Since I'm usually standing within easy striking distance of either boss, I can even keep the judgment up for longer than the first 30 seconds (if it doesn't interfere with healing duties of course!).

Nice. I never even thought of that.

I try to get our ret pally in as often as possible, and tell our pally healer (if we run with one) to judge wisdom on all boss fights. Then the ret pally refreshes JoW, JoL, my stacks of vengance and his own JotC. Thats a lot of +heal and +mana for the whole raid. And not to mention that JotC and sanc aura makes my threat skyrocket :)

You sure about the part I bolded? Vengeance stacks are not a Judgement so I highly doubt they would refresh with a Crusader Strike. The others yes. Those I'm pretty sure you have to refresh yourself.

I'm not totally sure, but I seem to have an easier time keeping vengance up when our ret pally is in the raid. I've not tried it tho, but I will. I'll let it stack, then switch to SoR and see of it falls off.

Cheers :)

You are correct, sir. Crusader Strike only refreshes Judgments, not Judgment effects. You would have to keep your own Vengeance stacks up yourself. If you want to use SoR along with Vengeance, you can do it with a little timing... (Improved Judgment helps a lot)

Can someone clarify for me: Does crusader strike refresh all judgements on the target, or just the crusader striking paladins personal judgements?

The tooltip for Crusader Strike says "An instant strike that causes 110% weapon damage and refreshes all Judgements on the target." All Judgments means all Judgments, not just those of the Ret pally that casts Crusader Strike.

That means that the Ret pally can judge Crusader, a tank judges Wisdom, and a healer judges Light, and the Ret pally is able to keep all of those Judgments up continuously. This ability is one of the reasons why Ret pallies have some appeal in group settings.

Aah, that's fantastic. My guild is stuffed with pallys too, and i'm trying to convince them of the viability of a ret paladin taking up a dps slot.
