PvP question! EurocompFollow

I joined a 5v5 and in 1st week we steamrolled our way to 1850 without much opposition. 2nd week we pushed for 2k but ended up having to settle 1969 (though hopefully tonight we surpass 2k).

We run a Elemental Shammy, Ice Mage, MS Warrior, Disc Priest, Holy Pally.

Ran into a eurocomp and we didn't get our faces melted but we did lose and I was hoping that we could get some advice.

1) CC. They had impeccable timing. Sheep priest, fear me to negate cleanses, druid used CC to keep our warrior out of the fight. Purge BoSac if I put it up, BoF seemed pretty tight as well on the warrior. We need to be able to break the CC rotation. I found stunning the lock and just playing the LoS game helped, though their mage tended to spam sheep on our Disc Priest to lock him down in such a situation.

2) Burn order, normally we like to switch targets and keep pressure and have healers get behind. With a 3 healer team, especially with our Mortal Strike eating a lot of CC and our healers seeing a lot of interrupts. This also ties back to breaking CC, who to attack and what order to disrupt there basic strat the best.

Any tips suggestions, perhaps changes in class set up to counter it etc would be appreciated!

im pretty sure you are the only one that posts on this board that has any experience whatsoever in 5v5. at least at a competetive rating.

I tried some 5v5 in S1. the hardest part was(still is afaik) getting 5 people together, and actually STICK together.

I think we did pretty good, but i found it to be way too much of a *********** to be fun, plus i had a successful 3v3 at the time that brought in enough points.

10 people seems like too many in those small arenas, especically BEM.

Apparently even blizzard thinks it's a mess since 3v3 is their bread and butter.
