I play a resto druid and even I am shocked at how op they will become with these talents. If blizz continues with resil druids will remain unkillable unless its 5v1. Also based on the arena discussion Druids are way more successful becuase not only do they have amazing hots they switch into travel form and bye bye slowing effects. If a shaman were to have those same effects tossed on him its gameover.

Don't have much to say, I haven't even bothered looking at the WOTLK talents yet, but loved this, because for some reason it strikes me as prophetic

When an enemy approaches within 5 yards of the totem, shaman can "detonate" it, producing a bright light that causes fear on all critters within 30 yards for 6 seconds. No-critters may get distracted, since like a rank 1 sentry totem, they'll probably never have seen a rank 2 one before.
Though seriously...
I like the idea of shamans gaining not so much in power, but in some of the flexibility that being a hybrid should have, and that attracted me to the Shaman class originally. Another way to get a temporary boost to dps isn't really adding to the depth of the class.

Well...while resto is getting more raw healing power and +healing crit making them the ultimate raid healbot (oh what boring fun). Enhancement got more raw dps and another uncontrolled pet, I am still a little peeved that it's slated to be a PvE DPS spec, and does not look to be changing any time soon. Elemental though...I'll eat a little crow on that, blizzard appears to be showing it some love for PvP. Check the Alpha thread for more.
