I've been level 70 for just under 2 months now and I have a full tanking and DPS set that is ready and has been used in Kara.

I have been slowly picking up resto pieces to respec at some point since I love do to both tanking and healing as a druid.

I'm just looking for some advice/critique on the gear I currently have and some options for upgrades in heroics.

I do have Atlas loot so I can see where the drops are, but from an experience standpoint I don't want to go for a drop I can see myself is an upgrade if there is another somewhere that I don't know about necessarily.

I have no regard for cloth or leather, I will wear whatever has the best stats for me. I am using a couple PVP pieces as I hadn't found an upgrade before switching. I have green gems in a lot of the slots and with blue gems I would gain 25 + healing so that is already known, I just don't want to spend the extra 45g per gem on gear I will be replacing quickly. I also am currently farming on enchants for all of my gear to add the +healing chants to everything. My rings are in my opinion my biggest weakness.

This post is simply for actual gear upgrades/advise on why to take certain upgrades over others based on a ToL/HoT based druid healing.

( healed Heroic Sethekk Halls(Epic Druid Flight Form quest) and Heroic Slave Pens last night. Brand new tanks in both instances(both warriors) so holding aggro was a little rough at points but we made it through. If I stayed alive I kept everyone else alive easily)

Thanks for your time in advance.

I am in the same situation, although I went with a Restokin build.

Your gear, as far as I am aware, is not bad at all. I have been picking up some of the PvP faction pieces to supplement my lack of appropriate healing gear, gemmed correctly, and with enchants, they are not bad.

I will leave the precision gear adjustments to the experts, as I am still learning the flip-side of being a Druid myself; Feral was a much different situation.

About the best thing you can do about your ring situation is to do some AV:

Vindicator's Band of Salvation
Binds when picked up
Unique
Finger
+34 Stamina
+20 Intellect
Requires Level 70
Equip: Improves your resilience rating by 22 (0.56% @ L70).
Equip: Increases healing done by up to 51 and damage done by up to 17 for all magical spells and effects.
Equip: Restores 6 mana per 5 sec.

and

Veteran's Band of Salvation
Binds when picked up
Unique
Finger
+30 Stamina
+17 Intellect
Requires Level 70
Equip: Improves your resilience rating by 22 (0.56% @ L70).
Equip: Increases healing done by up to 44 and damage done by up to 15 for all magical spells and effects.
Equip: Restores 5 mana per 5 sec.

Those together are an excellent setup and for just about 30K honor not only easy enough to get, but also unlikely to be replaced too soon.
