I know that everyone says use WF/WF, but what if you tried using WF/mongoose if you can get. I'm not very experienced with all this and just curious to see if any of y'all have tried it

Wait! So a shaman can not enchant their weapons and have them enhanced at the same time?

A shaman can have a weapon enchant and an enhancement such as WF at the same time. No worries.

Windfury, Flametongue, and Rockbiter are considered imbues, not enchants.

I guess i just really never bothered to try them together. thanks for the info. And, in this case, since i'll be using my WF/WF, what are good enchants to use?

Use executioner on the MH and mongoose on the OH. The haste combined with the agility trump the DPS increase you could get from putting potency on the OH.

Edit: Having done some research it turns out that mongoose and flurry do indeed stack. I must've been thinking of something else not stacking when I wrote that.

It doesn't stack with Flurry? I've never heard that. Any source on that info?

Flurry and Mongoose should stack. Apparently Mongoose should stack with itself as well.

I know for a fact that Mongoose can double proc and the buffs stack; hell, mongoose can quadruple proc if you switch between weapons and get lucky enough.

I was questioning the poster that said Flurry and Mongoose's haste didn't stack; that seem counter-intuitive to me.

quad proc thats awesome so if i ever go back to enh i need 300 badges for 2 sets of fists =P

but ya wf and mongoose should work fine together and i have never heard of mongoose not stacking with flurry and since flurry is almost always up for a properly equipped shaman then I think thats just nonsense.

The only person I know that's ever done it was back when my guild was in progression in T5 in SSC when one of our rogues would switch from Talon of Azshara/S2 Quickblade to S2 Slicer/Latro's and got 4 procs going.

It's a ridiculous waste of time and GCDs, though, especially for a rogue. Keep in mind that swapping weapons in combat incurs a GCD. Smiley: tongue

It was sick to see her breaking 3200 AP while having like ~295 hit rating, though.
