When you turn into a death Knight and your guy is 70 will it stay 70 or drop to 55 and will your guy still have all his rep and stuff I have a prot war well geared not sure if I wanna turn him into a death knight. IT is probably better to leave him like that and get a rouge or some other class to 55 to use as death knight? Anyone have any ideas let me know?

Existing characters won't be transformed into Death Knights, despite that being suggested amongst early news of the expansion. If you have a character of at least level 55, you will be able to create a fresh character as a Death Knight - who will start at around level 55 themselves. It won't take over your current character.

This question has been asked many times already due to people being too lazy to read previous topics.
Basically have ONE character at least 55, then bam, you unlocked the Death Knight class.
Create Death Knight like any other character you would create on ANY realm, limit ONE Death Knight per server.
I don't completely blame Tehnomage for asking that question in THIS thread.
Horrible thread labeling makes people ask the same question over and over again, i.e. like the naming on this thread.
Can it get anymore broader than "DK"?
