I got the axe from badges and enchanted it with mongoose, but now is my friend telling me that savagery is way better for that axe.. is that true?
I have ~1840ap and ~30%crit unbuff (BE pala)

for PvE, Mongoose ALWAYS > Savagery, doesn't matter what weapon.
for PvP, I still think Mongoose > Savagery, but it is a slightly closer argument.
IMO, only Executioner > Mongoose in any given situation, but Mongoose can still compete in PvE.
Edit: Not to mention your AP is plenty high enough not to need an additional 70.
