I got the SSO exalted shield, and I plan on keeping it for a long time. What I've been having trouble deciding, is what kind of enchant to put on it. I want to put some kind of threat enchant on the shield, since it is significantly more impressive than +18 stam.

The two enchants I was looking at are block value, and shield spikes. I like block value: higher shield slams as well as more damage absorbed by shield block. And I have the +10% block value meta gem in my helm. On the other hand, I rarely have too much trouble with single target threat (although more is always better for times like when the bloodlusting shaman is in the other group) so I was kind of leaning towards shield spikes for when I have to tank a couple of mobs. My issue is if giving up the block value for reflective damage only on blocks is a fair trade.

My armory is in my sig.

Block Value
Shield Spike

Thoughts?

i would use The shield spike as it would create additional agro on all attacking mobs also increases the damage output (altho not much but it does help)

while the +10 block chance would be useful as it would mean you last longer in fights but you can increase this by +str enchants so the +10 block can still be achieved without this enchant on your shield.

Edit:(didnt look at you armory as it would seem to be down atmo)

Shield spike is the best threat enchant for your shield, period. Which does more, 18 extra damage once every 6 seconds modified by threat or 'X' amount of threat every time you block, which is a lot more than once every 6 seconds? If you're going purely for threat, go with the felsteel spike. If you want a mix of threat/mitigation? Go with the block value.
