Raiding trinket question.Follow

Using the Tsunami Talisman and wondering what you guys think would work best with it the, Bloodlust Brooch or Ashtongue Talisman of Swiftness for Tier 6 boss fights.

Bloodlust Brooch - 72 attack power, use 278 attack power for 20 secs (2 min cool down)

Ashtongue Talisman of Swiftness - Steady shot has a 15% chance to grant you 275 attack power for 8 secs.

Taking any ideas on this, thank you.

I expect that would depend on your shot rotation.

If you are using a 3:2 rotation (read steady-spam) I'd take the Ashtongue Talisman.
If you are doing a 1:1 Priority rotation or a 1.5:1, the bloodlust brooch might be the better choice since you'll do a lot less steady shot which gets you the proc less often.
Personally I use assasins alchemist stone + DST for fights where I want to use mana pots and ashtongue talisman + DST for fights where I take haste pots or at least don't need the extra mana.
However I'm SV specced and I use a 3:2 rotation. This produces a great many steady shots which keep the uptime of the ashtongue talisman rather high (I guess it adds on average about 150-180AP).

Bloodlust brooch has average AP of 72 + 278/6 = 118AP. That is if you constantly use the trinket.

To be really sure I'd recommend you download cheeky's spreadsheet and test the trinkets for your different shot rotations :)

3:2 puts out the most DPS in most situations, so I would take the Ashtongue rep one.

google "cheeky's spreadsheet"

You will never ask a "should I use x item or y item" question ever again.

If I'm not mistaken, there are a lot of dead spots in the 3:2 rotation where it does way less dps than for example a 1:1 priority or a 1.5:1 rotation.
