Yes but it's my time, and I am not a "hard-core" player in the least. I play weekends only for mabye 6 hours total? Twinking at 60 will help me overcome the giant gear differences at 70 between my normal instance blues + 1 or 2 S1 gears vs. full venge with enchants.

So don't tell me that my idea of fun is retarded until you understand completely why I'm doing it (and even then...).

That has got to be the dumbest thing I've heard in a pretty long time.

Once, you're lvl 60, you're like 2 days /played away from lvl 70, so just rush it and forget about twinking at lvl 60.

It's his account and his money, but he posted asking our opinions about a level 60 twink on a public forum where I post regularly.

If people don't know that the rogue forums are a lot more extreme (in both knowledge and in toleration for retards, at both ends of the spectrum) than the other forums here on Alla, I'd invite you to go to the oboards and ask your question there.

In this case, the idea was one of the worst ever, which was clearly pointed out. If the guy has more than half a brain, he'll be gratefull that we've spared him so much time and money.

I would like to say that this forum, from what I've seen of the other forums here on Alla, has the highest userbase that's extremely knowledgeable about the class, as well as putting up with the least amount of *********

We don't get RP threads like the hunter forums for a reason.

Usually our threads tend to involve in-depth discussion of mechanics, stats, etc. The difference between a few points of haste and a few points of armor penetration.

The point is that I will stay at 60 (or 59 If I really wanted too, but that means no outlands gear) anyway, because I DO NOT want to go up against 1/2 S4, 1/2 sunwell epics, and the blades of azzinoth, beacus I will lose; Every time.

Again, I am a casual player, so gearing up at all is not very easy for me. (Ex. My Paladin has been 70 for 2 real weeks and Has 1 epic, the S1 shoulders that I needed to get 4k honer for.)

Twinking at 60 avaoids all of these problems (and gives me the advantage for one).

But It'll take too long.

You don't want to hit 60 if you intend to twink. That would be dumb and a huge mistake. If you hit 60 you will be stuck in the 60-69 bracket. 60 doesn't get it's own bracket anymore as far as I know, and if memory serves it hasn't since about 3-4 weeks after the release of the the burning crusade. You can still get outland gear from the auction house as outland gear starts at 58, not 60. This is because you can go to outland at 58, and you can start to get gear there. In fact, you may want to get the foe reaver sword you get from a quest as this makes for a decent main hand for a while, and it's better than the thrash blade.

As for enchants, there are two camps when it comes to the weapon enchant. You either get mongoose on one and executioner on the other. I don't remember which hand gets which enchant, because I don't do it. The other option is you get mongoose on both, which is what I would do. If you do any other weapon enchant it's because you were either being cheap (which is fine) or stupid (which I don't condone). Armor penetration does better if you stack it, and there isn't much gear available at 59 to let you do that, so I'd avoid executioner. I don't have a lot of personal experience with that enchant and maybe other rogues could tell you if/why executioner is awesome. I've never tried it, but I've done dual mongoose, so I recommend that one. The best advice I can give you is look at what good rogues do like Theo, his armory is linked in his sig. Try to get as many of the same enchants that he has, and that will almost definitely point you in the right direction.

I will tell you this though since you mentioned it: avoid battlemaster (the healing enchant). For starters, it doesn't heal much, because it's an AoE heal (heals party members too). Secondly I don't know many enchanters on my server much less others that have/get it. Thirdly, nobody wants the enchant and that's for good reason: there are better ones.

I think this is a waste of a lot of gold, but if you're dead set on doing things your way, best of luck. Hope that helps.
