Hey folks, just thought that I would ask your opinions on my gear...

At current, I am 67 Shadow specced priest, am mainly PvE because my guild lives in the day, I live at night when my job permits - upshot is that I have little time to do any instances with them...

I am looking forward to 70, and the bonuses that it will bring - what armour set do you suggest that I go with? I had originally thought that Mooncloth Battlegear sounds funky, but unsure (not really a stat cruncher!)

Without causing a riot, could someone advise?

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't go with the Mooncloth Battlegear set if you want to remain shadow. It would make for a decent off-spec set if you need to spot-heal, but overall, there are much, much better options if you are looking to fill the role of a shadow priest. When people ask for level 70 gear suggestions, I usually send them to the following links:

The best casual shadow gear that you can attain is found here. You can get all of this without doing any 25-man raids. Once you burn through that gear and progress into higher-end content, check out these pieces for upgrades.

Let me say that some of the best pieces you should get first are the S1 Gavel with the +40 dmg or Soulfrost enchant. If you are a tailor, the Shadow's Embrace set is incredibly potent for a fresh level 70. Another nice tailored set (BoE, so you do not have to be a tailor) is the Spellstrike Infusion set.

Other than that, just look through the links, and hopefully, that will help you a bit. Good luck, and happy leveling!

Hehe, wow - thanks for all that dude!

It'll take a wee while to sort through, but you've given me some great food for thought!
