I have sort of got the jist from many people that as far as PVP goes they fear Warlocks more than any other job.

Its more of a thing where people say: If the lock knows what they are doing, you are ?#<ked.

Is there any job that you don't just straight up own?

No.1 Rogues - nothing like being stunlocked from full hp to death, special feeling.
No.2 Warriors - big ugly brutes who rape you and then chuckle about it with their friends.
No.3 Hunters - on open ground ,with no spots to abuse l.o.s. i die.always.

I hate fighting any healer class, makes me nervous.

Also i met few mages who completely owned me,still cant figure out how.Must be skill and that kinda stuff.

I'm just starting, and only have the blue PvP set and my spellblade so far. Either getting the glad wrists, the off-hand, or the wand tonight.

However, rogues are probably #1, warriors #2. Hunters for #3, especially if BM (arrrrgh BW!!!!!!).

Boomkins, mages and shammies are tastey treats, though.

This weekend I was doing BGs pretty much non-stop. It's so hilarious to own terribad rogues that can't figure out what to do right after the shadow step. I mean, seriously.

First of all, "job" is something from another game. Here we say class ('cause we got class, and the other game doesn't!).

I'll go with the consensus. A good rogue will hands-down trash an equally good warlock, as long as equipment is comparable.

Only rogues. I'm fine with the rest. It just comes to skill level with any other class.

With rogues, they have to be uber bad for me to beat them.

I have to agree with the above, rogues, warriors and hunters, in that order.

for me the list is
hunter
rogue
warrior

hunter #1 because they are just ******** rogues u can fear and kill, its not easy but you would succeed maybe 50% of the time, which is a lot more then hunters, for hunters, if he gets you with first shot chances are you are screwed, he'll do that scatter shot crap and aimed shot youl be at half life, and your DoTs wont be fast enough. Warriors are different, if u get a fear on them and cast all the dots you can pretty much kill them, if they pull out that immune to fear crap that they do every once in a while you still have DC, just DoT DoT DoT DC SB and hope that shadow trance pops out so u can use that too

With multiple specs I've had a completely different experience with Hunters. Equally geared hunter will kill me with me getting him to about 10% in 1 on 1. Add any sort of 2v2 situation and depending I can pull ahead. I've stopped trying to fear Hunters.

Scatter Shot is a pain but they usually break their own, and being trapped can be avoided by simply paying attention. Get in close enough to fluster em a bit and reduce their options. If they arn't BM their pet isn't as big of a deal damage wise, and you wont have to worry about their Bestial Wrath. If you have IHoT this comes in super handy here. If they are BM then fearing is useless, and you're better using instants and mobility (Hunters are surprisingly immobile if you've ever played one.) Going all-out with SL/SL, as I said, I can get em to about 10%, I can sometimes kill them if I'm using Voidwalker (not often.)

Rogues are the ones that will devastate if they get the first hit off, which is why so many Locks hate them. The worst thing here is that Trinketing often accomplishes nothing, as they have multiple options for incapacitation. SL/SL, Deep Destro, Felguard, and some UA specs can handle themselves against Rogues though, especially in favorable situations. They are just exceedingly frusterating (and their kills memorable because of this) since you often feel 100% helpless when being ambushed by one.

In 'reality' though if you look at the classes as a whole, IMHO Warlock's 2 worst enemies are the 2 classes that also happen to be statistically Overpowered: Arms Warriors and Hybrid Druids. Burn specs will not kill these before going OOM, Snares or Fears... nope, they tear through any defensive specs and outlast any "outlast" specs. Nasty buggers.

**Edit**

Also, @ Moonkissed

Warlocks are hated on in a very similar way as Rogues are hated on. It's not so much the overpoweredness of it as it is the complete loss of control. Often there is no feeling of "Oh that was close!!" It's not so much a complete domination as it is a misunderstanding of the class and a fact that everyone else is not seeing whats going on behind the scenes. Warlocks, much like Rogues, take a balancing act to successfully 'dominate' their opponents, and what the opponent is not seeing are the demininshing returns, the cooldowns being blown, and the options running out. Much like a Rogue, if someone can bust a Warlock's momentum and cause him to waste his Cooldowns, they have a fair shot at beating him.

This then turns your original quote back onto itself. Its not so much that the Warlock knows what he's doing (which he still does)... it's if his opponent understands how to combat the Warlock's tactics.

Great info. That makes a lot of sense. I never thought of it that way.
