Shapeshifting movement speedFollow

Hi, I was going to give druid a try out soon and was just curious if you get movement speed bonuses while in bear or cat form? Before you get your travel form spell.

you can talent for a movement speed bonus to cat form, getting up to a 30% bonus as early as level 21. bear form removes no bonuses unless you use run speed enchants or you have the pvp set bonus (which you can only get at 60+).

with the pvp set bonus and the talent, cat form run speed sits at around +45%, while travel form sits at around +55% above normal. bear form would be at +15% above normal.

Yep just as Quor said, except if you put 2/2 in feral swiftness you'll get 49% extra run speed actually because it's multiplicitive (.3 from talent and .15 from set bonus = 1.3*1.15 = 1.495 or 149.5% run speed. Same for travel form which gets 161%, and bear gets no run bonus so it has a flat 115% run speed. As far as I know, run speed enchants will not stack with these effects as well as the cat form ability dash.

By PvP enchant do you also mean the defiler's boots (at low levels)? I was told they would not stack with enhanced cat or dash so I never bought them :p

*But* even if they do not stack (I haven't noticed me running any slower than other druids) would the minor increase in run speed work indoors when cat form slows down to normal speed? I hadn't considered that before...

"The bonus from the Arathi Basin reward boots is identical to the Minor Speed Increase Enchant, and can be safely swapped for that in any of the above combinations."

So if you want the boots + feral swiftness, you need the line "Enchant+FS*"

In catform and with only the boots, you run at 108%
In catform and with only max feline swiftness, you run at 130%
In catform and with both max FS and the boots, you still run at 130%

So no, they do not stack in catform. However, in bearform and casterform, the boot speed increase will prove its worth.

Indoors, the formula is the above line "with only boots" proving that yes, it works in catform, feline swiftness just overrides it when outdoors.
