So I completed Brutal Armor and unlocked the following three quests:
Satyr Hooves
Dragonmaw Shinbones
Chimaeric Horn
The armor I have now is better than the quest rewards. Are these a series of chain quests? I'd like to skip over them, but not if there's something sexy at the end :P

I would totally just skip them. They don't give you any rewards or anything. Only one you have to do is the one for Berserker Stance. That requires you (atleast for alliance) to go north of Ratchet to an island and kill like 5-6 guys in a row. Its easy and a must to do. Any quest that gives armor or anything like that, ***** it. Armor is replaceable and you should be leveling as fury so the 2-hander is useless.
I loved the Whirlwind Axe, I used it up to when I switched to fury at 44 ish.
It depends on your playstyle. If you're a guy who wants to complete everything go do it. But if you are only interested in getting levelled and rolling into endgame skip em (except the Zerker stance unlocker of course).
I did all of them except the quest that you need to go into RFK and kill one of the bosses - never could find a group for that.
I like experiencing all the stuff associated with a class as I level it, but thats just me.

If you were closer to level 20, I would say finish them for sure. I was able to get a level 70 guild member to walk me to the chest piece at about level 22, The other three quests lead to gloves, leggings and a helm.
The helm becomes the first headpiece you can wear depending on when you grab it and I used the gloves until I dinged level 40 and got some plate gloves.
The xp for finishing the quests in the 20s was pretty decent as well.

the quest for the whirlwind weapons (which is obtainable at level 30) is not dependent on finishing those quests, so don't make your decision based on that
