Hunter

* Demoralizing Screech - now has 10 sec cooldown
* Charge - description changed to read "animal" instead of "boar"
* Gore - "Gores the enemy, causing $s1 damage. This attack has a 50% chance to inflict double damage, or triple damage if used just after a Charge."

New animals with Charge?! New Boars?!

How about mores stable slots, Blizz? Can we have those?

Would have been nice to see new pets get Charge, if they hadn't nerfed the threat generation it had earlier. Putting charge on a proper dps pet would be nice for soloing though...

I wonder if we can count on Gore going off automatically after Charge, or if we'll have to macro for it. Either way, this (and everything else you said) are exciting.

More stable slots would be nice. I had to drop my pink flamingo pet to pick up a Ravager awhile back. Was lucky enough to get the Ghost Wolf last year. Still waiting for it to randomly become "unfeedable" through a hotfix lol.

I like it overall though. It looks like they're taking a lot of stuff from Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne as well. Like Cripple for example. New Leatherworking Drums looks awesome too.

Yeah. I think most hunters have been dying for new stable slots. I recently (and very reluctantly) gave up my owl, that I had been using for Hyjal, to go tame a wind serpent again. With a few more gear upgrades, I will comfortably sit at 35% crit rating raid buffed without a feral druid, so I want to start bringing a pretty pet with an easy diet.

I couldn't give up my Ravager, because I'm too attached to her- and I couldn't give her up while I level up Arash-Ethis. I couldn't give up my Cat because I use her for PvP.

Demoralizing Screech - now has 10 sec cooldown

WTF??? I know screech spamming in a party is damn annoying. But since boars were nerfed, Gutripper has been my solo farming pet. Screech+growl is great at keep agro. Screech only lasts for 4 seconds though. Putting it on a 10 sec timer pretty much makes it useless now. Of course, this may help it work better with using claw at the same time, since screech+claw+growl doesn't work so well. Either way, I don't see a need for this.

If they changed the cooldown to 10 seconds, I imagine that they would also change the duration of the effect. 12 seconds maybe? 15?
That should stop the tanks complaining about headaches after grouping with our noisy feathered friends.

One thing it will do, if that goes through, is make the Owl family a lot more popular. With Growl and Screech for the agro and debuff, and Claw for the focus dump.
Good stuff.

there's a difference between screech and demoralizing screech.
Or at least i assume there is :)

As far as I know, there is only one kind of screech. I assume its refered to as "demoralizing screech" because it has essentially the same debuff as "demoralizing roar" and "demoralizing shout".

I'd say that Blizzard can type properly, and the ability is called screech.
Demoralizing screech would be a new ability i think.
Also because i see no reason whatsoever to nerf screech with a 10 sec cooldown because it's not that powerful.

A use I never thought of... Will Screech pop a Rogue/Druid out of stealth?

Not only that it doesnt work, but screech requires a targte too as well as being in melee range of a target.
Not much rogues/druids that would be stupid enough to more or less run into that.

I believe there was a note that "Screech" had been renamed "Demoralizing Screech" prior to that note, so I believe it's the same ability.

Screech does do damage, but only to its target. The AOE debuff will be given to anyone in range, stealthed or not. But the range on it is quite pitiful. Only those within melee range. So trying to bust a rogue or druid out of stealth with it wont work. But hunters have plenty of other abilities to combat the stealthed. I know I always PVP with Track Hidden on. Plus I have the epic engineering goggles wich also increase stealth detection. VERY rarely am I ever caught off guard by a rogue or druid.
