So WF has a hidden 3 sec cooldown. Wouldn't it be best to have a 1.6 weapon speed then for that cooldown?
With 2.6 wep speed (+ means 3 sec cooldown time)
0 - Proc
+ 2.6 - swing
5.2 - swing (chance for proc)
with 1.6 wep speed (+ means 3 sec cooldown)
0 - proc
+ 1.6 - swing
3.2 - swing (Chance for proc)
So wouldn't you be getting more chances to proc with a 1.6 weapon speed?
It ultimately comes down to.... Alot of small procs vs. Few large procs.

You're not counting Flurry nor the higher weapon damage of slower weapons (between weapons of the same DPS).

What about a fast 2h or haste gear?
Hunters don't want their attack speed to be faster than 1.6 or slower than 1.8 or else it cuts their dps.
Do shamans also have something like this for attack speed? Or is it just get 2.8's and throw all the haste and attack speed you can?
